Transform your interior into a comfortable and warm cocoon with this authentic Berber rug woven in the Atlas Mountains in the heart of Morocco. Our Berber rugs are made by women from Berber tribes. The raw material is the wool of a specific type of sheep, known for its small size and high strength. Making these rugs requires exceptional craftsmanship, passed down from generation to generation, as well as a large dose of patience. It takes 1 to 4 months – depending on the size of the rug – to make each of these unique pieces. Kilim rugs are flat-woven and are known for their colorful geometric patterns. They are made by different Berber tribes in different regions of Morocco. To care for a Berber rug, it is advisable to dust the rug regularly and carefully. Preferably choose a vacuum cleaner with a soft nozzle. In case of stains, quickly dab with absorbent paper, possibly using baking soda, before finishing the treatment with a vacuum cleaner.
