The raw material is the wool of a specific type of sheep, known for its small size and great strength. Making these rugs requires exceptional craftsmanship, passed down from generation to generation, as well as a great deal of patience. It takes 1 to 4 months – depending on the size of the rug – to make each of these unique pieces. These rugs, originating from the Ourika Valley, are woven with naturally dyed sheep's wool. These rugs are loved for their versatility and fit seamlessly into a wide range of interior designs. To care for a Berber rug, it is advisable to dust the rug regularly and carefully. Preferably choose a vacuum cleaner with a soft nozzle. In case of stains, quickly dab with absorbent paper, possibly using baking soda, before finishing the treatment with a vacuum cleaner.
