The raw material is the wool of a specific breed of sheep, known for its small size and great strength. Each of these unique pieces takes 1 to 4 months – depending on the size of the rug. These rugs are woven in the Moroccan region of Boujad. Their often bright and bold color palette is obtained from natural dyes extracted from local plants.
