Maintenance tips: Vacuum the rug weekly without rubbing. Do not use a hard brush. Do not pull the excess thread, but cut it with scissors. If there are stains, act immediately. Reduce the stain with absorbent paper and then use a sponge or clean cloth, slightly moistened with water and a little neutral PH soap. You can also sprinkle some Sommières earth, which has good stain removing properties, on top and let it work before vacuuming. Mat is not machine washable.
