Easy to clean, water-repellent, antistatic and antibacterial, it is an ideal fibre for carpets. Maintenance tips: Vacuum the rug weekly without rubbing. Do not use a hard brush. Do not pull on excess thread, but cut it off with scissors. If there are stains, act immediately. Reduce the stain with absorbent paper and then use a sponge or clean cloth, slightly moistened with water and a little neutral PH soap. You can also sprinkle some Sommières earth, which has good stain removing properties, over it and let it work before vacuuming. Mat is not machine washable.
